Our friends Skoogmusic are having a very busy summer! Here’s some information on what you can look forward to experiencing on the 6th and 7th July………..
Exciting event hosted by the City of London Festival all about music making, disability, accessibility and new technology!
Level Playing Field – 6th-7th July
Free event showcasing assistive music technology and collaboration between disabled and non-disabled musicians.
Make music with the Skoog – Guildhall Yard 3pm – 5.30pm
This new musical instrument empowers those unable to play traditional instruments. By touching, pressing, squashing or twisting the multicoloured tactile cube, anyone can play a wide range of instruments, intuitively. Try out the Skoog, and chat to the inventors of this unique musical instrument just come long to the Guildhall Yard between 3pm and 5 pm. No booking necessary

There will also be free workshops will run throughout the day (between 9.40-3.00pm) in partnership with Drake Music, Guildhall School Music Therapy Department and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. These workshops will explore music making with assistive technology including Skoog, Soundbeam, iPad and adapted instruments.
