Songwriting Charity North West Team gets ready for the summer!

Songwriting Charity North West Team

Paul Brickles, Elaine Kinsella, Samuel Ferry and Chris Hughes.

Director of Programmes, Ben O’Sullivan, had the privilege of spending pre-summer school time today with Songwriting Charity colleagues in the North West of England.

Returning for a second spell on the summer school road trip are Samuel Ferry and Chris Hughes. They are joined by Elaine Kinsella and Paul Brickles. What a team. This fantastic four will be very busy over the summer holidays working across a number of locations and creating more Songwriting Charity magic as we deliver the 2013 summer school programme in partnership with Capita Education Resourcing. Our Sports Tracks programme was launched in the unforgettable summer of 2012 and granted the Inspire mark, the badge of the London 2012 Inspire Programme. The key outcome of the Sports Tracks workshop is an original song for the school to celebrate achievement in sport.

We’ll be adding their biographies to the freelance Workshop Leader Team page on our website soon. In the meantime, give Paul and Elaine a very warm welcome! And do say hello to Samuel and Chris too!

As of Monday 29th July, keep an eye on our SoundCloud for more original songs written by young people for young people.
